FAQs

  • March is one of the best times of year to visit Puerto Rico. Expect warm, pleasant weather with daytime temperatures typically in the mid-70s to low-80s°F (24–28°C). Evenings are comfortable, and rain is usually brief if it occurs at all. Light, breathable clothing is recommended.

  • No passport is required for U.S. citizens. Puerto Rico is a U.S. territory, so domestic travel rules apply. A valid government-issued ID (a real ID) is all you need.

  • Puerto Rico uses the U.S. dollar (USD). Credit cards are widely accepted, and ATMs are easy to find throughout San Juan.

  • Uber is widely available in San Juan, including Old San Juan, Condado, and Isla Verde. Most guests will find it easy and affordable to get around using Uber. Taxis are also available, and many hotels can help arrange private transportation if needed.

If you’re interested in private transportation we recommend David Vega Transportation Company: (787) 615-7568

  • Our dress code is Black Tie Optional. For women, we invite you to wear a floor-length gown. For men, a dark suit with a tie or bow tie is perfect. To complement the setting and season, we kindly ask women to avoid black and white and instead embrace joyful, vibrant colors inspired by the beauty of Puerto Rico’s spring. Please also remember Puerto Rico can get warm. For your comfort, please avoid dresses with long sleeves or overly thick fabrics. See Bottom of page for inspiration!

  • Our ceremony will take place indoors at the beautiful Catedral de San Juan Bautista Basilica Menor. Following the ceremony, cocktail hour will be hosted in the interior courtyard of Hotel El Convento, a charming space that blends open-air ambiance with covered, indoor options. The reception will be held indoors in Salón Campeche, an air-conditioned space, so you’ll be comfortable and able to celebrate with us all evening.

  • We adore your little ones, but this party is strictly adults-only! We hope you enjoy a well-deserved night to relax and be ready to sip, dance, and celebrate with us!

If you wish to travel to PR with your little ones and make this an incredible family vacation, please do so! We have partnered with a nanny service that can be booked for the night of the wedding, please let us know ASAP if you are interested in booking and we’ll be happy to facilitate the connection.

  • Yes! Puerto Rico is very safe for visitors, especially in touristy areas like Old San Juan, and the broader San Juan area. Guests should feel comfortable exploring, dining, and enjoying the island.

  • Put down the phone, it’s time to be present! We’re going phone-free during the ceremony so you can fully soak in the magic and not miss a single moment (we promise we’ll share the pics later!). No texting, no instagramming, just love, laughter, and maybe a few happy tears!

  • We’re so excited to have everyone join us, however, we’d love to keep our special day between those closest to us. Those who have received a plus one will see an additional space to write their name in the RSVP form.
